Finally, you are inside the sauna where you will find the stove (kiuas), from which hot steam is emitted and on which the hot stones (kivet) are placed; the water contained in the wooden bucket (ämpäri) is poured over these stones with the ladle (kaula). If you are a newcomer and it is your first sauna, it is advisable not to exceed 10 minutes, for subsequent times instead it is recommended to stay between 10 and 15 minutes, sitting or lying comfortably on the wooden bench, with your legs bent and your feet at the same height as the seat; after the time spent in the sauna, you should get up calmly to avoid dizziness.

I rivestimenti interni sono in hemlock oppure abete classico, verniciato nero o bianco nella parete di fondo, mentre tutte le altre pareti sono impiallacciate.
